BAY CITY — Regulation wasn't enough time to settle Wednesday's game between the Bay Area Thunder hockey team and the Tri-City Titans but neither was overtime. Swan Valley rallied from a 4-1 defecit at the half to post a 5-4 win over visiting Ovid-Elsie Wednesday. Austin Crawford booted the game-winning goal with 55 seconds left in the match to complete the comeback victory over the Marauders.

It was a running game spectacle Friday evening in Chesaning where the Indians hosted Swan Valley. The Vikings' Jonathon Grace and Chesanings' De Shaun Young ran for a combined 578 total yards on the night. In a clash of TVC Titans Hemlock and Swan Valley the huskies prevailed with a 35-28 win at home Thursday. Hemlock led 21-0 at the half before the Vikings rallied in the third quarter to tie it all up 21-21 at the end of three quarters. The teams exchanged touchdowns in the final quarter but the huskies scored the last TD on a 5 yard run with six minutes left and held on for the win.
