BAY CITY — Regulation wasn't enough time to settle Wednesday's game between the Bay Area Thunder hockey team and the Tri-City Titans but neither was overtime. A rally in the last five minutes by the Thunder tied the game but the teams ended up with a 3-3 tie after neither team was able to score in the extra session.

ALMA — Swan Valley improved to 5-1 in the Tri-Valley Central on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Alma.
Scores for the match were 25-9, 23-25, 25-19 and 25-17 for the Vikings, which improved to 20-13-4 overall.
Lauren Kunc, Madison Malott, Heather Pollick and Courtney Reinhold all had nine kills to lead Swan Valley. Jenna Stevenson added 33 assists and 12 digs as well for the Vikings.

Johnathon Grace ran for 263 yards to go over 1,600 for the year, but Swan Valley gave up a 14-point halftime lead in a 36-27 loss at Ovid-Elsie.
The loss dropped the Vikings to 4-4 on the year, and dampened their playoff hopes heading into their season finale against Bay City John Glenn.
Swan Valley led 20-6 at halftime, but allowed Ovid-Elsie to score a pair of third-quarter touchdowns to tie the game.

Swan Valley Soccer Grabs Win Over Shepherd

The Vikings finished the regular soccer season with a 4-0 win over host Shepherd on Thursday.
Nick Lynch led the attck with 2 goals, while Austin Roberts added 1 goal. Austin Crawford also notched a goal and 2 assists and Collin Dole tallied an assist. Noah Blower and Sam Whitteberry took turns in the net to earn the shut-out.

Bay City Western defeated visiting Swan Valley 3-1 in non league volleyball action on Monday during it's "Battle for the Cure" match-up.
The Warriors won with scores of 25-21, 15-25, 25-20 and 25-20.

The Lancers scored first when Spencer Delzer netted a shot with an assist from Nic Drendall early in the half.

Swan Valley remains unbeaten in the TVC Central with a 3-0 win over Chesaning on Wednesday.
The Vikings cruised to a 25-17, 25-6 and 25-12 match win.
The Vikings were led by Heather Pollick with 9 kills and 8 digs while Elizabeth Addy had 6 kills and Madison Malott tallied 6 kills and 6 digs. Jenna Stevenson added a team high 11 assists.

It was a running game spectacle Friday evening in Chesaning where the Indians hosted Swan Valley. The Vikings' Jonathon Grace and Chesanings' De Shaun Young ran for a combined 578 total yards on the night. In a clash of TVC Titans Hemlock and Swan Valley the huskies prevailed with a 35-28 win at home Thursday. Hemlock led 21-0 at the half before the Vikings rallied in the third quarter to tie it all up 21-21 at the end of three quarters.
