BAY CITY — Regulation wasn't enough time to settle Wednesday's game between the Bay Area Thunder hockey team and the Tri-City Titans but neither was overtime. Hemlock rolled to it's second straight win of the girls basketball season with a 51-12 win over visiting Chesaning this evening. The Huskies were led by Karli Herrington who posted her second double-double (16 points, 15 rebounds) in as many games.

HEMLOCK — Hemlock clinched a second-straight trip to the postseason Friday with a 41-32 victory at home over Bullock Creek.
It's the first time in school history that Hemlock has made a trip to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons. If the Huskies finish with a victory in Week 9, it'll be the first time since 1983 that a Hemlock team has reached seven wins.

Ithaca jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the half but the Huskies rallied in the second half to settle for a 2-2 tie on Monday.

Chesaning and Hemlock played to a 3-3 tie despite Chesaning's Ryan Schroeder shooting a hat trick and Hemlock outshooting the Indians 26-6.
The Huskies led 2-1 at the half with Schroeder putting the Indains up but Kennedy Beagle and Nico Brauner notched a goal apiece for the huskie lead.

Hemlock handed Bullock Creek their first loss of the season with a 2-1 win Wednesday.
Kennedy Beagle gave the Huskies a 1-0 halftime lead, nailing a penalty kick. Chris Shepherd notched a goal in the second half assisted by Cody Konop to seal the match.
Netminder Ryan Garrett made 15 stops in the net for Hemlock.
Spencer Delzer scored the lone Lancer goal.

In a clash of TVC Titans Hemlock and Swan Valley the huskies prevailed with a 35-28 win at home Thursday. Hemlock led 21-0 at the half before the Vikings rallied in the third quarter to tie it all up 21-21 at the end of three quarters. The teams exchanged touchdowns in the final quarter but the huskies scored the last TD on a 5 yard run with six minutes left and held on for the win.

Hemlock boys soccer broke a 2-2 halftime tie netting three second half goals to beat visiting Swan Valley Monday for their first win of the season.
The Huskies were led by Kennedy Beagle with 2 goals and an assist. Alex Keller and Chris Shepherd each scored on headers, while Nico Brauner tallied 1 goal and 1 assist. Mason Slominski and Ryan Garrett shared duties in the net with Slominski made 7 saves and Garrett stopped 8 shots.

Hemlock had to settle for a 3-3 tie against Ithaca on Monday at home in their TVC conference opener.
Ithaca scored first with a goal by Luke Rayburn before Hemlock shot back with two goals of their own to take a 2-1 lead at the half.
Alex Netzley quickly tied the game up for Ithaca but Hemlock scored on a penalty kick a few seconds later.
Mario Cuapio scored with about twenty minutes left in the matchto tie the game 3-3 and the game finished that way.
