CARROLLTON - In a night where its top scorer was sidelined with an injury, the rest of the Carrollton girls basketball team stepped up to get the win.
Beverly Wallace scored 21 points, and Lexi Kostick, BreAna Speight, and Rachel Abney had 10 points each.

SAGINAW TWP - The Saginaw Nouvel boys basketball team used an 18-9 third quarter run to record their 10th win of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Carrollton 52-39.

CARROLLTON - Trailing most of the game, Carrollton made a fouth quarter rally to defeat visiting Essexville Garber 70-64 in TVC crossover action on Tuesday.
Carrollton trailed 17-16 at the end of the first quarter and 31-26 at the half.

CARROLLTON — Eight wrestlers for Carrollton went 2-0 on the night as the Cavaliers picked up a pair of wins in their home quadrangular Wednesday night.
Carrollton was the only team to go 2-0 at the meet, defeating Valley Lutheran 66-18 and then Michigan Lutheran Seminary 45-33.

Hemlock rolled in the first half and Carrollton in the second half and it took overtime to decide the winner of their division 5 football playoff game Friday at Hemlock.

Carrollton grabbed the first two sets of their match 25-23, 28-26 before the Bobcats fought back taking the nex two 25-22, 25-18 to force a 5th set.
