THOMAS TWP - Swan Valley wrestling defeated Chesaning and Bangor John Glenn Wednesday at their own triangular. The Vikings beat Chesaning 42-30 and John Glenn 60-18.

SAGINAW - Swan Valley put away visiting John Glenn 45-37 in the second overtime of their girls basketball game on Monday.
John Glenn held a 15-7 first quarter lead and 22-20 halftime edge. The Vikings pulled ahead 27-24 to start the final quarter, but the Bobcats tied the game with a jumper with three seconds on the clock to force the first overtime.

Carrollton opened the wrestling season with a 1-1 record at John Glenn on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers lost to the Bobcats 42-34 but followed it up with a 63-10 win over Pinconning. John Glenn finished the night with a 2-0 record after downing Pinconning also.

Carrollton grabbed the first two sets of their match 25-23, 28-26 before the Bobcats fought back taking the nex two 25-22, 25-18 to force a 5th set. It was a hard fought win for the Bobcats all the way and the final set was no different but John Glenn pulled off the 17-15 win to get the 3-2 match win.

Bullock Creek tennis dumped visiting Johnn Glenn 7-1 Wednesday. The only loss for the Lancers was at No.2 singles where Kyle Felker defeated Chris Eidsmoe. The Lancers also got an easy win when the Bobcats did not have a team at No.4 doubles.

Bangor John Glenn dropped it's boys tennis season opener 6-0 to visiting Caro Thursday at home.
Both teams were short of players for a full roster with both teams forfeiting No.4 doubles. Glenn also forfeited the No.3 doubles and No.4 singles flights.
