
ST LOUIS - Michigan Lutheran Seminary used a strong second quarter to down host St Louis 46-40 Thursday in girls basketball.
After a 8-8 tie heading into the second quarter, the Cards made a small raly in the second for a 26-19 lead at halftime.
St Louis tried to get back in the game in the second half but the Card defense held on for the win.
Amanda Aldrich led all scorers with 12 points and Jessica Friebe added 10 for the Cards.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary improves to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in the TVC West.
