Valley Lutheran football finally broke their two year (18 games) winless streak destroying visiting Bay City All-Saints 53-6. The Chargers totaled 472 yards on the ground along with seven rushing touchdowns led by Trevor Roth's three TD's. Aubrey Moore and Evan Howard each added two touchdowns apiece.
Moore broke free for a 55 yard TD followed by a Howard 9 yard TD run for a 13-0 Charger first quarter lead. Tyler Cardinal scored the lone touchdown for the All-Saints to end the first quarter 13-6.
Howard, Roth and Moore each scored a TD on runs of 14, 2 and 70 respectivley for a 33-6 halftime lead.
Roth scored two more touchdowns on runs of 5 and 9 yards in the third quarter.
Norman Braddock completed the scoring in the fourth quarter grabbing a 10 yard pass from QB Brady Meyer.
Moore led the Chargers with a whopping 238 yards rushing , while Roth added 100 yards and Howard had 64 yards.
