Birch Run volleyball defeated host Hemlock in three straight games 25-19, 25-21 and 25-23 Wednesday to win 3-0.
Sarah Hartley had 18 digs, 11 kills and 2 aces to lead the Panthers, while katie Dowd added 21 assists.
Hemlock's Karli Herrington led Hemlock with 7 kills and 2 blocks. Abbi Phillipson contributed with 4 kills and 2 blocks, while Abbey Kube tallied 9 digs and 6 aces. Taylor Alfano and Brooke Phillion had 6 assists apiece.
Hemlock next competes at Nouvel Catholic Central next Wednesday.
