After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, Chesaning rallied to tie the game in the second half only to see Ithaca's Luke Rayburn score on a breakaway for the 3-2 win Thursday.
Cooper Reeves and Dakota Ruddy scored for the Indians.
The Yellowjackets outshot Chesaning 16-4. Rayburn finished with 2 goals and an assist, while Zach Drowley added a goal.
Chesaning drops to 0-2 overall and hosts Freeland on Monday.
