Bullock Creek Named Co-champ at Caro Boys Soccer Tournament

Bullock Creek and Marlette finished first in their pools at the Caro Tournament Saturday and were named co-champs when the event was stopped due to bad weather.

The Lancers finished 3-0 beating Chesaning, Millington and Pinconning, while Marlette tied Caro in a scoreless game. Both teams were 1-0-2, but Marlette was named the winner of its pool after not allowing any goals while Caro allowed a score in a 1-1 tie with Otisville-Lakeville.

Caro defeated Swan Valley 3-0, while Pinconning opened with a 1-0 loss to Chesaning before beating Millington 2-0 on gaols from Cody Gage and Rafael Thomas (both headers).
