Midland Dow Tennis Settles For Tie With Birmingham Brother Rice In State Power Matchup

Midland Dow boys tennis had to settle for a 4-4 tie with state power Birmingham Brother Rice on Friday at home.

The Chargers (3-0-1) swept the singles flights while Brother Rice won the doubles portion.

Dow's Vikram Shankerwon a tough third set win at No. 4 singles for the tie. Vikram trailed Brother Rice’s Johnny Cameron in the third before making a comeback and winning 6-4 to clinch the set and match.

Dow  travels to Okemos for a Quad on Tuesday.
