Valley Lutheran recovered from their first loss of the season with a 3-0 shut out of host Bay City John Glenn Thursday.
Ricky Butler, Nate Kern and Landon Schriber each notched one goal apiece and both Nathan Spencer and Andres Niederstadt tallied an assist. Goalie Austin Swiercz made 7 stops in the net.
The Chargers held a 1-0 halftime lead and scored two goals in the second half to seal the game.
Valley lutheran (8-1) travels to Essexville Garber (1-5-1) on Monday.
