Valley Lutheran boys soccer shut out visiting Birch Run 4-0 Monday evening to improve to 6-0 ( 2-0 TVC).
Valley Lutheran held a 1-0 lead and scored three goals in the second half for the win.
The Chargers were led by Ricky Butler who netted 2 goals, while Zachary Seder and Jared Cliff each tallied 1 goal. Nathan Spencer notched 2 assists and Landon Schriber added 1 assist. Goalie Austin Swiercz made 8 saves for his 5th shutout of the season.
The Chargers travel to take on North Branch (1-1) on Wednesday, while Birch Run (2-1) travels a short distance to play Frankenmuth Wednesday.
