St Charles Blanks Hemlock 38-0 at Home 10-23-09 St Charles did not have a problem with Hemlock shutting them down and winning 38-0. The Bulldogs already wrapped up a playoff spot a few weeks ago and are awaiting for their opponent to be announced. St Charles jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and scored 21 points in the second quarter for a 35 point lead at the end of the first half. Tyler Nieman accounted for all the first quarter points, scoring on a 22-yard run and then passing to Zac Henninger for a 25-yard TD. In the second quarter Tyler Larsen dashed in from 3-yards for a TD and Travis Crane ran in a 15-yard TD. Larsen finished the scoring in the first half on a 45-yard interception return for a TD and a 35-0 lead. Both offenses stuttered in the second half with only a 28-yard field goal by St Charles kicker Travis Crane as the only points. St. Charles finishes the season at 8-1 overall and a share of the TVC West title. The only blemish is a loss to Carrollton. ![]()
