Saginaw Native LaMarr Woodley Almost Scores a TD in His First NFL Pro Bowl 2-2-10
LaMarr Woodley almost scored on an interception returned for a TD, almost.

Woodley stepped in front of a pass thrown by NFC QB Donovan McNabb and ran almost too easily 64 yards into the endzone. Unfortunatley there were some penalties on the play. One 12 men on the field for the offense and then a holding penalty on the defense. The penalties offset and the play had to be replayed. So, Woodley almost had a defensive TD in his first Pro Bowl game.

"I bobbled (the ball) a little bit when I got it," Woodley said of the non-interception he made in the second quarter last night. "I said, 'This is my only time to shine.' I only ran slow because I wanted to get some camera time. I slowed down to get a little camera time back home."

The Pro Bowl is usually a shoot-out with very little defense played. The offensive lines don't play their hardest trying not to injure anyone, or themselves in a game that is more of a vacation and an honor to play in. The games are mostly high scoring pass friendly games and this game was no different. The AFC won 41-34.

Woodley recorded two tackles in the game.
