Maurice Jones and Derrick Davis McDonald All-American Nominees 2-6-10
Bridgeport High School's Derrick Davis and Arthur Hill's Maurice Jones learned they are nominees for the 2010 McDonald's All-America high school basketball team

Davis, a 6-foot-2 guard, averages 20 points, seven assists and nine rebounds for the Bearcats and became the first Bridgeport player to ever earn that honor. Davis would like to attend an Ivy League school and that may not be out of the question. He drew Ivy League attention last year by scoring a 30 on his ACT.

Jones, a 5-foot-6 senior who stars for #2 ranked Arthur Hill High School also learned he is a nominee for the All-American game. He is averaging 27 points a game and has already committed to Southern California.

The selection process should be complete by mid-february and the final roster will be set. The 33rd Annual boys game and girls game will be played on March 31 in Columbus Ohio.

Many current NBA players have participated in the game including Shaquille O'Neil, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Rasheed Wallace and more.
