Heritage High School brought home the Division 1, District wrestling title Wednesday evening. Eight Hawk wrestlers recorded a pin in their match for the district title. Heritage had seven pins in a row which resulted in the match-up ending early due to the hawks earning enough points for the win.

 The Hawks got an easy win in the first round when challenger Saginaw High failed to show up forfeiting the match. In the other bracket, Bay City Central eliminated Arthur Hill by defeating them 55-10.

In the Championship match the Hawks held on for a 48-36 win over the Wolves.

Heritage travels to Davison for the regional championship next Wednesday.
