Hawks Basketball Green and Blue Teams Start Season 12-1-09

The White Pine Hawks 8th grade Blue and Green teams started their basketball season recently and split the Wins. The Blue team fell 37-20 while the Green team won a hard fought close game 20-19.

Connor Flynn had 5-points and Jeff Canole tallied 4-points in the Blue team loss. Dean Krukowski led the Green team with 13-points, he is having a good season so far averaging 12.5 points a game.

With the loss the Blue team falls to 0-2 while the Green team improves to 2-0.

The Hawks traveled to Bay City to take on Christa McAuliffe Middle School last Wednesday with the Blue team falling 43-11. The Green team had better luck with a 37-35 win.

Jeff Canole led the Blue team with 6-points. Dean Krukowski led the Green team with 12-points and Marcellus Glenn added 11-points in the win.
