Saginaw High wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett recently was among the nation’s top 400 players who are candidates for the 2011 U.S. Army All-American Bowl next January in San Antonio.

The bowl features 90 of the top high school football players in the country. Past alumni of the bowl include Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush, Vince Young,Ted Ginn, Jr., Tim Tebow.

The bowl will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The East-West match will air live on NBC at noon.

Arnett was one of the headliners recently at the NIKE Combine in Columbus walking away with the Co-MVP award. He reportedly had an outstanding performance.

Arnett, a junior, currently has scholarship offers from Division I schools Michigan State, Michigan, USC and Notre Dame.
