Bishop Ready Beats Nouvel in Final Season Game 10-25-09
Nouvel suffered a devastating season end as Columbus Bishop Ready ran circles around them. With many of the starting players hurt, Nouvel just could not stop the running plays as Bishop Ready scored 20 points in the first quarter.
Bishop Ready then went on to score 16 more points in the second quarter, but Nouvel was able to put 7 on the board for the only points they would score for the game. Both teams left the field at halftime as the rain started coming down to make the field even harder to navigate. With a 7-36 Bishop Ready lead.
In the 3rd quarter, Nouvel finally shut down Bishop Ready as they held them to 7 points. No one scored in the 4th quarter ending the game 7-43 with Bishop Ready wining the game.
Key players for Nouvel were Reid McConnell with 11 tackles, Macenzie Schaper with 8 tackles, and Gabe Augustine also with 8 tackles. Ty Jacobs threw for 157 yard and 13 completions and Bennett Lewis caught 5 passes for 97 yards.
